Welcome to the
Hartley Forum

The Hartley Valley is an extraordinary place in terms of both landscape and cultural significance. In addition to its stunning natural beauty it has a wealth of European heritage assets within it that make it a heritage treasure.

Recent times have seen valley residents focus on planning for the future of the valley. In June, a workshop was held for valley residents to consider future planning options for the valley. This meeting resulted in the preparation of a number of documents and finally the summary report Hartley Valley : Future Directions. In September a further meeting is planned to enable residents to express their support or dissent on the various suggestions that are incorporated in the report.

On this website you will find all the documents created in this process right down to the draft report, document three, Hartley Valley : Future Directions.
